Hello Shruthi, Sorry I didn't visit this site for quite a while. I became a Gather member only because you were there. As you can see I haven't added any friends besides you. Today's the last day of the year 2008...Sid's year. He was with us only for 65 days out of 365, and I have remembered him every minute of each of the 300 days, and I have cried a thousand times...On 28 November, he would've been 22. Our first Christmas without him was totally joyless, and tomorrow, when a new year starts, he won't be a part of it. It's just not fair... I want to thank you, beta, for being a part of his last days. He was a free spirit... he did what he wanted...said/wrote what he wanted. He was hugely talented as a writer...like you are. Whatever Shruthi - I've seen girls wearing kajal but whatever you use seems to mirror your soul (eyes being windows of the soul and all that)
journalist WOW - that must be hectic - to ease your troubles I'm seriously thinking of shifting lock,stock,barrel and laptop to Chennai and getting an auto - you'll have a vehicle on call all the time while you explore the "goings-on" in the city and I'll get the chance to get my book done . . . .
Just peeked in and was thrilled to "see" you. Haven't been on Gather much these past few weeks. Literally living in clouds with the amount of flying around I'm doing all over the Middle East. Have developed some amazing new concepts and its a thrill. Will take a trek into the Valley of the Flowers (Himalayan Range) in late December this year and hope to finally put together my first anthology - "Drifting Petals"
